Home Time!

We filled our last morning with a little bit of last minute shopping (bewtween us we spent thousands of dollars!) Tried to squeeze everything in our cases and headed to JFK to fly home :(

Most of us had to re-pack our cases because we were over the weight limit ooops! I love my fabulous friends and the time we have spent in the most amazing city in the world!

World Trade Centre

After a day of looking in amazing shops and eating at cool cafe's but no signtings of Carrie :(.....We decided to get a taxi to The World Trade Centre site and check it out.

My photos dont really do it any justice because it was dark, but it was really strange and moving to be there, stood infront of this big open space in this massive built up city! Literally steps across the road is the Hilton Hotel which goes on for miles above your head and also a chapel which apprently didnt loose a single tile off of its roof when the Twin Towers were bombed....creepy.

Century 21 is just across the road too (a massive version of TK Maxx) so we spent a few hours in there!

Just catching up on a few notes on the floor!!!

Downtown Time!

Our last full day we decided to spend Down Town experiencing a little 'coolness' and 'culture'! By far my most favourite part of town loving all the unusual things we came across!

Fiona sized Champagne.....Perfect!!
Welcome to Greenwhich Village.....Home of Carrie Bradshaw!

Found a real Banksy piece!!

Hard Rock and Times Squareeee!

After dashing back up to 5th Av we decided to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe! Totally loved it and loved the atmosphere, just a shame we are not 21 yet as the bar looked amazing!

Some snaps of Hard Rock!
We then found ourselves in Times Square, which is indescribeable, all the advertising and bright lights were amazing and we were shopping in the American Eagle store at 1am! We had our photo taken and it was put up on the billboard which was practically the whole exterior of the store! We also met the middel east version of Christ Tarrant!

Us rockin' American Eagle next to P.Diddy!

On the steps featured in 'Empire State of Mind' music video with Alicia Keys & Jay Z!

Most amazing night literally crashing in bed about 3am!

China Town and Little Italy!

After exploring where the rich love to play, the Upper East Side, Me and Beth headed Mid Town to China Town in the search of some (fake) designer goods!
After being hounded on the street by the Chinese then taken through shops, through fake walls which were actually doors, down through to basements, and down fire escapes in to hidden rooms out the back we saw an amazing, unreal amount of fake designer!
Eventhough at one point we were a little scared of the underground tradings going off it was a really funny experience and non of the fakes lived up to our expectations so we didnt buy anything!

China Town: An example of one of the shops filled with EVERYTHING you can think of!

We then thought it would be a good idea to get our nails done...I was sure they couldnt undertand what I wanted (colour gel over my own nails) and in the end i knew they couldnt! I ended up not paying & Beth ended up paying a fortune!

Rancid Nails: My sky blue Sugar Magazine colour & Beth's $$$$ nails!

Above: An example of Little Italy!

Strangely enough Canal Street separates China Town and Little Italy so we had a look around there too. It really was like being in Italy and messed with the mind!

Upper East Side - Hello Blair Waldorf

After an amazing busy day yesterday we were soooo tired but excited to see what the Upper East Side had in store for us! I know this part of the city because of the Gossip Girl cast!
The Apple store was amazing and just plain glass with an underground sea of Apple workers and lovers! The building and shopping mall's were very OTT and we loved it!
A few photos of the amazing buildings surrounding Central Park and Bloomingdale's, one if the most fabulous department stores in New York! Saw some amazingly dressed women come in to this mall!
